Early Life

S Ganesh Nayak was born on June 14, 1974, in Shiriyara, Udupi, into a devout GSB family. His parents, Seetha R. Nayak and S. Raghuram Nayak, are farmers and grocery store owners. He has a total of six siblings, including three brothers and three sisters, and he is regarded as the youngest son of the Nayak family.

1980 - 1990

Education

Completed schooling in Halladi, Higher Primary School in the year 1980-1987 completed the Class 12th from National Junior College Barkur (NJC) during the period 1988-1990 He earned his Diploma Engineering in E&C during the period 1992-1995 from Dr. TMA Pai Polytechnic – MIT Manipal.

1995

Work Experience

Ganesh Nayak worked for Crompton Greaves Land Line Phone Marketing in Krishna Communication for 6 months in 1995, where he oversaw product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Marketing Management towards the revolution of Landline Phones in coastal Karnataka.

In 1996, he joined HARSHA (Prakash Retail Pvt Ltd) as a sales executive and Field Service Technician, where he was primarily in charge of Counter Sales and On-Site Technical Work. He then began working as a Junior Engineer at KMC Mangalore (College of Dental Surgery) for 8 months.

2001

Inauguration

With barely 3 lakh as initial capital investment, S Ganesh Nayak founded "DEEPTHI ENTERPRISES" in the year 2001 as a whole sale company for L&T (then known as Ultratech) Cements, acquiring agency for the entire Udupi District. 2003 saw the acquisition of Ramco AC Sheet Wholesale Distribution for South Karnataka and Udupi.

2005

Head Office

He relocated to Brahmavara in 2005, where he established up an office that is now known as the head office with just one employee, acquired the C&F Agency for The Ramco Industries Ltd., and obtained the authority to sell products in the 5 District. Additionally, he established Balaji Transport for the transportation of sheets and cements.

2010

Brahmavar Godown

Established his first branch at Brahmavara for the hardware section and added the pipes and fittings and textile divisions in 2010 and 2021, respectively. At present, the branch carries major brands of Hardware & Paints, Pipes and Fittings, Electricals and Home Appliances, Textile and Fabrication Divisions, and Pipes and Fittings.

April 2010

Udupi Branch

Deepthi Group formally opened its retail showroom in Udupi, close to the Karavali Bypass NH 66, in April 2010 to market and sell complete building materials throughout the Udupi District. Understanding the necessity for a second branch in the South Canara District, he opened a third branch in Mangalore for wholesale trading and a stock of all building material-related products.

2015

Mangalore Godown

Recognising the need for another branch in the South Canara District, we opened a new branch in Mangalore for wholesale trading, with a stock point for all lines of business relating to building materials.

2021

Deepthi Wire Industries

We recognised an increase in the demand for industrialization and built a new industry in the year 2021 under the brand name DEEPTHI WIRE INDUSTRIES at Ankola to manufacture one of the most preferred and efficient products such as Binding Wires, Nails, and Barbed Wires, which is currently sold across Karnataka under the brand name WIREON.

2022

Kumta Godown

In the Year 2022 Understanding the need for one more branch at North Canara District we introduced one more Branch at Kumta for Wholesale Trading with Stock point of all the lines of business related to Building Materials.

2023

Deepthi Build Pro Ventures

In the Year 2023 Formed New Company Under the brand Name DEEPTHI which is called as DEEPTHI Build Pro Ventures Pvt Ltd

Social & Spiritual Activities

He joined the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) in 1980 and began conducting Shakhas at Shiriyar in association with the RSS. He held leadership and membership positions as Shikshak, Mukyashikashak, Shakha karyawah, Mandala Karyawah, Taluk Boudhik Pramukh, Jilla Saha Samparka Pramukh, and others while engaging volunteers in a variety of exercises, games, and activities at his ShaFirst aid, rescue, and rehabilitation techniques are taught to volunteers, and they are urged to get involved in community improvement projects.

He completed his Initial Training Camp (ITC) in the year 1986. In addition, he participated in the Bangalore-based Grama Vikasa Sammelana and the Samartha Bharath Programme, which is in charge of the entire Udupi District.

He currently serves as the director of Diganta Mudrana, which prints the Hosa Diganta News Paper, Karnataka Text Books, and other relevant books and articles. He served from 2015 to 2017 as the Secretary of Shree Rama Mandira Shiriyar Kalmargi and a member of the building construction committee for Shree Ramanjaneya Sabha Bhavana.

He served as President and a member of the building committee of the Shri Vishnumurthy Temple in Guddattu from 2013 to 2015, as well as the Shree Veera Vittaka Temple in Badragiri from 2010 until the present. He currently serves as President of the Kashi Math Samsthan Nayampally branch of the Sri Gopal Krishna Temple.

In addition to this, he supported cultural activities and participated in a variety of social activities. He gave many deserving students the tools and funding they needed to excel in school and in the future. Several organisations were founded to support social, economic, and spiritual endeavours in the Udupi District under his direction.

Political Activities

Having been a part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the year 2018, he assumed primary duty from the RSS for the MLA Election for the year 2018. From the RSS, he was elected as an In charge for the Parliament General Election for the years 2014 and 2019 to the Udupi, Kundapura, and Byndoor Constituency.
